I own one quilt that I've always thought was made by my Grandmother, but it could have been someone else in her family.... I've always treasured it...
I believe I would be great at designing the quilts - buying the fabric - even cutting it out...but the sewing and quilting part - forget about it!
I just picked up this book last night at Barnes & Noble...

I think you should quilt....just saying, join a real class or a craftsy class? I know how to quilt but I didn't stay with it, knitting is my go to craft :)
Now here's yet another reason why we should be living closer to one another. You could design the quilts, we would shop for fabric together, and I would sew the quilts while you were designing the next one we would do!
