Saturday Snapshot....

For about a week - we had a "pet crow"...  I think he got separated from the rest of his flock and was a bit confused.  So we were helping him out with his eating (several times, he took a cracker out of my husband's hand)!  Then the other day, all the big crows came back from wherever they had gone off to - and I think "our crow" found his Mama and off he went!  It was a fun and interesting interlude for our lives....

Great shot! I love some of the books on your stack, like Kathleen McCleary's House and Home, Ann Leary's The Good House, and The New Neighbor.

Thanks for sharing...and here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST

Wow, nice pic and a great story! I saw a very noisy, raucous group of crows in our trees this week. Hope you are enjoying the weekend -

We are having fun just now watching a whole family stop by the crabapple tree and munch on the apples. There are lots on the ground (the ones the farm animals haven't gotten to yet) but the crows are adorable standing on a wobbling branch pulling an apple off and flying away with it.
