O H I O - my home sweet home....

Here is my finished "Emma". I loved stitching this design. For one reason, my Father's mother was named Emma. And the other reason I enjoyed stitching it so much, is the fact that it has the word "Ohio" on it. I'm originally from there. My entire family is still living back there. I'm the only one that is "away from home". I've been away from there for 35 years, and am still homesick. I added the little key to the sampler - as the key to my heart is back in Ohio with my parents and siblings.

It looks great, Linda! I love how you personalized it to make it special for your own family.

Linda, I love what you did with "Emma". It's so precious with the addition of the key and safety pin. It was fun for me to stitch it and finish it too. You did a wonderful job! I am from Cincinnati and all my family still lives there and around the city in Mason and Loveland.

What is that "Remember Me" embroidered piece next to Emma? Did you make that? It's really cute of what I can see.
