my soap opera "One Life to Live"! The last show aired last Friday... There were hopes that it would continue online - but that hope was lost a month ago.... And now all the actors are scattering to the winds - trying to find new jobs. I started watching One Life to Live many years ago - after my favorite soap was cancelled. That was "Another World". I sobbed and sobbed so hard while watching the last show. I think part of it was I had really come to love the characters - but a bigger part was the fact that my Mom watched it too - and we used to talk on the phone about it all!
I never came to care for One Life to Live as much - but I still liked it quite a bit - and teared up a few times on Friday. Since they thought it would continue online - the stories did not get "ended"... So now I will have to make up my own endings. I know that four of the characters are moving over to General Hospital - and possibly more will come on later. So I will start watching that now. Altho I haven't watched it since I was in high school - and that was really a long time ago! I remember rushing home from school so I could sit there and watch - LOL!

I'm sure it won't take you long to catch up. I haven't watched soaps in years, and when I see an episode, like at the clinic or something, I still know who some of the characters are! :o)
I am sad to hear about OLTL! I am a GH fan, and my daughter is die-hard enough that she watches GH on the computer (thanks to you tube!). She is sooo afraid that GH will be cancelled, too. I used to watch OLTL when we lived in the US... hard to believe that we won't be able to see what's going on in Llanview anymore. :(
