I love old keys. I collected these over the years from various antique shops.
I plan on using some of them on some of my needlework designs in the future.
The rest will stay in the little tin I have them in - and I will take them out from time to time - just to look at them - and think of what they used to unlock. Maybe someone's heart. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I do.

I love old keys, too. They'll be a neat addition to your needlework!
I always liked those old keys, too.
Never thought to save them, but wish I had done that. My grandmother's house in NoCarolina had doors that used that type of key.
Those are terrific!!! What a great collection.

Thanks so much everyone! Now that I think about it, my Grandmother had doors that used these types of keys also! What a fun reminder of a good memory that I had forgotten.
I actually saw some skeleton type keys in the jewerly making section yesterday at Michaels Crafts. So if you don't have any old ones, those would look nice also.

I collect old keys too Linda. We had a skeleton key at Cranberry Cottage but had it changed as they are easy to open with any skeleton key nowadays.

I love old keys too, though I never seem to find any. I once saw a craft idea in a magazine where the person somehow mounted a collection of keys on some kind of backing, covered it in glass, and had it framed. Beautiful!
